We’ve all spent a lot of time working from home this year. At LanYap Networks, we leaned into it. We had the technology and processes to support a remote workforce model, and off we went. Employees were able to leverage hosted voice, desktop-as-a-service, SD-WAN, conferencing, and security tools to power their home offices, support customers, and keep business moving forward.

After months of ‘eating our own dog food’, it turns out that most of us were pretty happy with this new work environment. Maybe working from home was something we would consider long term? After all, permanent work-from-home policies have been adopted by many organizations throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including Siemens, Nielsen, Slack, and Twitter, to name a few.

Earlier this month, we received the news that the office that we leased was sold to new management. In an unexpected turn of events, our consideration of long term remote work became a reality.  Today, we are happy to announce that our team will be going 100% remote as of December 18, 2020. 

So, what does that mean for our customers? In short, nothing will change. The same great people who have been providing exceptional customer experiences all year will continue to do so – just from a different address.
